Useful when you need the computer with its own screen and battery in different places. Weight, display, keyboard and docking support matter.

Mini PC
A compact option for a fixed desk. Consider the separate screen and peripherals as well as ports and the complete configuration.

An option when expansion or particular performance requirements matter. Actual upgrade options depend on the model and its components.

For personal use
Choose specifications around your applications, display, connections and everyday use. Meroth IT-Service can also plan the transfer of accessible files and set up the selected computer.
For business use
Applications, licensing, displays and future expansion are considered together. Equipment can then be selected around the existing workflow and brought into service in an organised way.
Hardware advice is based on your requirements; Meroth IT-Service does not retail its own stock of computers. The scope, current rates and any additional work are discussed openly.

Prepare the transfer
Applications cannot always be copied like documents. Installation media, licences and account access may be required. Keep a checked backup before changing or retiring the old device.
How is the work billed?
The current rates for private and business use, billing units and travel conditions are listed on the prices page (German). Time depends on the task and preparation. Any additional work is discussed.
Could the issue be handled remotely?
Suitable tasks on a running Windows 11 PC may qualify for the separate remote service with a preliminary check (German). Hardware and physical network issues usually need an on-site visit. Remote and on-site services have separate terms.
Who will carry out the work?
Meroth IT-Service personally handles the agreed on-site assignment. You discuss the task, findings and next steps directly with the specialist doing the work.
